Fun Fact: What Some Readers Have Told Me

Over the years, I’ve received a handful of private messages that I will always remember and cherish.

A few came from people who’d been through real pain — childhood abuse survivors and veterans who lost limbs — who said my stories gave them an unexpected sense of comfort. They described finding a safe, fictional space to process or reframe difficult memories, without judgment or real harm.

On a lighter note, almost everyone else who contacts me — for access info, questions, or just to say hi — is consistently kind, polite, and completely normal in how they communicate. It's a calm, respectful community, and I'm grateful for that. (Just to be clear: not everyone who enjoys this kind of work has been through trauma — I certainly haven't.
